TiCN coating is applied by physical vapor deposition(PVD)in Punch Industry, in order to assure the wearability of punches for punching. Physical vapor deposition(PVD)is applied in low processing temperature, and it will not affect the hardness of quenched / tempered base material or the finishing profile. So, PVD method is applicable to all materials collected in this catalog to optimize selection. With the features of high rigidity, uniform thickness and high finish, TiCN coating can greatly improve the wearability of products while maintaining profile dimensions, in order to extend the lifespan. The features of Punch Industry's TiCN coating are listed in Table 2.TiCN coating must be applied to ejector punches before assembly.
